Designer Spotlight: Angelababy for b+ab

Hong Kong model Angelababy is now a fashion designer, creating a line for b+ab. In an interview, Angelababy mentions the inspiration for this line comes from her closet, a collection for the younger fashionistas featuring clothes that are sexy yet cute. It's like getting a taste of what Baby already has in her closet.

It looks like Baby is wearing a wig...on her feet! But I must say, the fur vest does compliment the lace dress quite nicely.

Incheon Korean Music Wave Festival 2010

There was a lot of metallic and legs (and my TaeYang :-*) at the Incheon Korean Music Wave Festival yesterday as the best of the Hallyu performed at the annual event. After seeing all of these girls exposing their toned skinny legs made me not want to have ice cream today... lol

The ladies of After School wore marching band inspired tops and gold hotpants. I was more interested in the white peeptoe ankle boots with the chain detail!

The SNSD/Girl's Generation group kept it young and sporty in mini letterman jackets and short shorts.

Son Dambi performed 3 numbers in an overly ruffle top and a super short pleated skirt

Hurricane Boa rocked this sparkly gold and black outfit, leaving me to wonder where can I get that awesome blazer?!

Music Video Fashion: Taiwan

Although the clothes seen in most music videos aren't exactly the type of clothes you'd see on everyday people, they give us inspiration for our own styles and creativity to DIY. The Lady Gaga effect has taken over Asia as a lot of singers try to go over the top and make a statement in their music videos. Here are a few that caught my eye these past couple of weeks.

Always the risk taker Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai features some unique outfit choices in her comeback this summer, including a Buzz Lightyear inspired costume that was heavily criticized by netizens.

Fashion Trend in Asia: Harem Pants

I'm kind of on the fence about this fashion trend going on in Asia this past year. They remind me of the MC Hammer "Hammer Time" pants. They look unflattering if you aren't a size 0-4 and in some cases you look like you have a diaper on! But they do look super comfy in the jersey material. What do you think about this trend? Should it stay or should it go?

Hi! Decided to dedicate Saturdays to sharing what I've worn this past week. Unfortunetly I only managed to take one pic this wk... (too busy in the mornings and too tired after I get home) I'll try harder next week! Promise!

Mr. Hong Kong 2010

When you're watching the Mr. Hong Kong competition this year don't just stare at the half nekkid men, don't forget to check out the dresses the female judges wore :P

The hosts for the show Mandy, Koni, DoDo, Christine and Ella. Christine's dress reminds me of Kristin Chenoweth's sparkly Emmy dress and I love the detail on Ella's gold metallic dress!

Drama Fashion: Beauty Knows No Pain

I've been watching a Hong Kong TVB drama called Beauty Knows No Pain, a show about the pain women experience in their lives and workplace. There is nonstop competition between these women in the workplace and for what? money? power? bragging rights? If I worked at a place like that, I think I would've quit before lunch time on the first day! lol Here's some of the office fashion that I couldn't help but oogle at while watching the drama unfold each episode:

I just realized that they wear a lot of dark colors on this show, perhaps the stylist was trying to convey the depressing atmosphere of working in an office with a queen bitch for a boss! Hopefully none of you have to deal with a devil at work ;)
